RECIPROCAL RULES
RULES FOR VISITING RECIPROCAL CLUB MEMBERS
Introduction
The facilities of the Bombay Gymkhana Ltd. may be used by Reciprocal Club members as per the guidelines below, revised by the Managing Committee in June 2001 on the principle of mutuality and reciprocity.
GUIDELINES
- Entry Fee : Nominal Rs.30/- on weekdays and Rs.60/- on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday.
- Games Fee : Rs.95/- on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. Rs.75/- on all other days .
- Maximum Utilisation: Twenty Five days per annum.
- Possess parent Club Membership photo identity card. In absence of Photo Identity Card an Introduction letter from the parent Club would be necessary along with parent club identity card. Details are to be entered in the Reciprocal Club Members' Register maintained by the duty Clerk at the Reception.
- Dependent children allowed only if accompanied by a parent.
- Indian Reciprocal Club members are not allowed to entertain guests. Howver, Foreign Reciprocal Club members are allowed to entertain SIX guests at a time while using the facilities of our Gymkhana.
- Will pay only by cash for all services and facilities. Credit accounting is not allowed. While signing Vouchers, Member's Name, Membership Number and parent Club to be clearly indicated.
- Reciprocal Club members will be charged the same as Bombay Gymkhana members for all functions such as New Year's Eve Dinner Dance, Diwali Mela, Bar Nites, etc.
- Those Residing in Mumbai for an extended duration for whatever reason, are not entitled to use the Bombay Gymkhana on a reciprocal basis.
- Members will be subject to all rules and regulations as applicable to members of the Bombay Gymkhana Ltd.
- Only Members whose permanent address shows the name of the city where the Club of his Membership is located, are eligible and entitled as a reciprocal Member, whenever they visit Mumbai. Members of such Club, permanently located at Mumbai are not entitled.
- Management of Bombay Gymkhana Ltd., reserves the right to ask for permanent address of members of such affiliated Clubs visiting. In the event of any discrepancy, matter will be referred to the parent Club.
